Aluminium Doors & Windows — System and Custom Fenestration

By Dhruv Agarwal · · 2 min read

What we deliver

System and custom fenestration — openable, sliding, casement and tilt-and-turn aluminium doors and windows, plus uPVC where the application suits it, for commercial, high-rise and premium residential projects.

We work on engineered systems rather than assembled parts. A window is a performance product: profile, hardware, gasket, drainage and glass have to be designed as one assembly, or nobody can honestly state what it will do.

System partner

As a strategic partner, Winda Window Systems supplies engineered aluminium and uPVC window and door systems manufactured in Ludhiana, Punjab. Systems are built as one engineered assembly — profile, hardware, gasket, drainage and glass — using 6063 T6 alloy, EPDM gaskets and EN-certified hardware.

Scope of works

StageWhat we deliver
System selectionOpenable type, performance class, thermal and acoustic requirement
DesignOpening schedule, shop drawings, glass specification
FabricationIn-house cutting to ±0.1mm, routing, crimping, end milling
GlazingDGU or single, coating and toughening per application
InstallationSub-frame, fixing, sealing, hardware setting and adjustment
HandoverOperation check, snagging, O&M and warranty documentation

What drives the cost

Opening type and size · thermally broken versus plain profile · glass build-up (single, DGU, laminated, low-E) · hardware grade and origin · acoustic performance requirement · finish (anodised versus PVDF powder coat) · floor height and access.

Where projects go wrong

  • Mixing system components. Substituting a gasket or hardware set invalidates the tested performance of the whole assembly.
  • Specifying good glass in a plain frame. Paying for high-performance DGU then bridging the assembly with unbroken aluminium wastes the benefit.
  • Ignoring drainage. Water sitting in the glazing rebate attacks the DGU secondary seal and causes early fogging in monsoon conditions.
  • Leaving finish grade unnamed. "Powder coated" spans products that last five years and products that last twenty-five. Specify the resin class.
