What we deliver

Canopies, balusters, pergolas and skylights — bespoke architectural elements fabricated in-house and coordinated with the surrounding envelope.

These are the elements that give a building its character at eye level, and the ones most often left to be resolved late. They are also structurally awkward: almost all of them project, cantilever or sit overhead, which puts them in the load cases where facade work most often goes wrong.

What drives the cost

Span and cantilever length · glass build-up on skylights and glazed canopies · structural steel or aluminium framing · finish class — anodised or PVDF powder coat · drainage complexity · geometry, since curved and faceted forms cost substantially more than orthogonal.

Where projects go wrong

  • Designed for downward load only. Uplift usually governs on projecting elements, and it is the load case most often missed.
  • Monolithic toughened glass overhead. If it fails, the fragments fall. Laminated is the only acceptable specification.
  • Drainage as an afterthought. A canopy that sheds water onto the entrance steps is a slip hazard and an obvious defect.
  • Condensation ignored on skylights. Warm humid interior air against cold glass produces water. It has to be collected, not left to drip.
  • Late structural coordination. Cantilevered elements need fixings designed into the primary structure, not drilled in afterwards.

Bespoke work on our own line. Approximately 9,000 sq ft of fabrication capacity with CNC-grade machinery and in-house welding, so architectural geometry is built rather than substituted for the nearest catalogue product.

One team across the envelope — canopies, glazing, cladding and railings detailed together, so the junction where an element meets the facade is not an interface between two contractors.
